As you may know, the deadline to sign up for a Marketplace insurance plan was extended out to January 15th, 2022. Any enrollments or changes to your existing plans submitted after December 15th and on or before January 15th will have an effective date of February 1st, 2022.
This allows anyone who missed the initial deadline of December 15th, 2021 to still sign up for a plan or to make changes to existing plans and you will have an effective date of 2/1/22.

Subsidies Increased – Find out if you qualify
Many who previously didn’t qualify before, do qualify now!
If you previously did not qualify for a federal subsidy that covers a portion of your premium due to higher income, you may be surprised to find out you do qualify for a subsidy this time. Due to the American Rescues Act, a large amount of money was built into the bill allowing for increased subsidies for those on Marketplace plans until 2023.
